Specializing in weddings and custom artwork, Emilime Designs strives to create unique pieces to personalize life’s most memorable and important moments. Emilee’s classic and timeless artistic-perspective and detail-focused approach make each piece to elegantly shine without drawing attention away from what truly matters. Emilime Designs opened shop in 2008, and it’s those ten years of experience in the industry that allow her to keep the artist-client relationship fresh, enjoyable, and stress-free. Emilime Designs specializes in custom invitation and stationery suites, hand-calligraphed envelope addressing, canvas wall art, chalkboards, signs, business logos and branding. However, she is always open and willing to take on unique and ‘interesting’ lettering and artistic projects.
Meet the Artist
Emilee Stucky
Emilee was first introduced to the art of calligraphy after receiving a Speedball calligraphy gift set from her grandmother for her eighth birthday. While it wasn’t until after graduating college she decided to brush up on her calligraphy skills through an online course with calligrapher Melissa Esplin, it didn’t take long for Emilee to develop her own style–a classic take on the traditional copperplate font. She has also found joy in sharing her love of calligraphy, illustrating, painting, and designs as an artist for the Silhouette Design Store and hundreds of students at her local Kansas workshops. She spends most of her day wrangling her identical twin girls, and then sneaks away to craft and create when they lay down for sleep. Emilee is a self-proclaimed night-owl, loves watching high school basketball, and is highly addicted to sweet tea.
