Yes, it’s just as romantic as it sounds.… Imagine having an heirloom piece of art that was not only created just for you, but was also created in the very moment it captures! A Live Wedding Painter does just that! Emilee will plan, paint, and entertain your guests during some of the most special moments of your wedding day–all to forever be paused in a painting for you to remember and cherish. It will be a piece that your friends, family, and maybe even future grandchildren will cherish for years to come!

Entertain your guests before and after your ceremony by letting them watch a painting of you exchanging vows unfold. Or let Emilee interact with your guests who might not love dancing at a reception, but will love watching your first dance as husband and wife unfold with each brushstroke. Emilee has been painting for the last 8 years, specializing in florals, scenery, venue illustrations, and abstract art. While Emilee’s medium specialty is watercolor, she can also paint in acrylic to create a more abstract and bolder statement for your wedding art piece. The choice is up to you! All packages include a consultation with Emilee about a month before your wedding to discuss the important elements you would like captured. Emilee will work from pre-wedding venue photos and other inspirational pictures (such as pictures of the couple, the Bride’s dress or Groom’s suit, floral pictures, or specific color palettes) before your wedding to sketch and plan to make sure the foundation of your painting is just perfect! Then, depending on which package you select, Emilee will arrive on location to set up her easel and paints and begin the process. Some packages allow Emilee for more on site time on-site than others. Please take that into consideration for your wedding timeline to make the most of the entertainment for your guests! Emilee’s favorite moment is the chance for the Bride & Groom to see their piece in person before they head off for their honeymoon! (You might even want to have your photographer or videographer stick around to capture that first look, as it’s always a special one!) After the wedding, Emilee will pack up her supplies, and take your painting back to her studio to add in all of those final little details to that are so important to the day, and finish and frame your piece!

The Packages

The Landscape or Bouquet Live Illustration Package, $1850+

One of Emilee's favorite live packages, resulting in a unique piece of work that hints of your "wedding day" but ultimately captures the memory of that place and time while making it still feel like a timeless piece of art in your home. As Emilee would describe... "Painting the landscape or the flowers makes not only your wedding day but your work of art feel... perpetual." Choose from the live painting happening during your Ceremony & Cocktail Hour or before & during the Reception! This package is an endearing way to capture the details of your wedding while entertaining your guests! Includes 4-5 hours of on-site painting and a pre-wedding venue visit and/or consultation to plan your painting.

The Live Ceremony or Reception Illustration Package, $2150+

This package includes one painting of your choice, capturing either your ceremony or the reception. Choose to have your vow exchange painted with watercolors and continued throughout your reception, or have your first dance painted with loose flowing brushstrokes, creating an abstract dance-quality to the painting during the reception. This package includes up to 6 hours of on-site painting and a pre-wedding venue visit and/or consultation to plan your painting.
